what we do
Art
A thin and resistant line, as only feelings can be, connects father and son: love and respect for marble, love and respect for art…
Luigi Corsanini
FOUNDER OF THE LAB
Luigi Corsanini (class 1940) studies in Carrara at the Institute of marble Pietro Tacca. Once reached his bachelor, he begins working at the lab “Nicoli” first and at “Ama” of Carlo Andrei later, beginning his apprenticeship. Later he moves to Paris where he begins a partnership with Roman sculptor Italo Santelli and many other artists. Back in Italy, in 1972 he decides to start his own studio founding Studio Arte Corsanini after a didactic experience at the Accademia delle Belle Arti of Carrara as teacher in sculptural technique.
Leonardo Corsanini
THE SON
Leonardo Corsanini (class 1972) graduates at the Technical Institute Parentucelli-Arzelà of Sarzana and subsequently, thanks to personal interests, reaches also the diploma at the Artistic high school following evening classes; while working in his fathers studio. Mess tin is long, lasting more then 10 years when Luigi, sure that his son may go by himself, retires still remaining available with his supervision and expertise. Today, Leonardo, with a highly professional staff, receives artists from all over the world looking for a traditional sculpting studio but at the same time of innovative technology: from sketch… to final production.
